more to come...

King 2 to White Rook <over>
King 2 to White Rook <over>

The moment I saw the TITLE: almost that exact image popped into my head … Actually that might give you cause for alarm. :tongue:

Sarge, Little John, Cage, Kirby, Doc and the <guest> soldier for the week, entering the town and to the awaiting danger.

What a nice way to start my Sunday morning. A cup of coffee, a cinnamon bun and your great COMBAT diorama.

Perfect Larry, you know the script well.
Combat is back on one of our local channels on Saturday night. Watched it last night. Thanks for the enjoyable feedback.

RIP Vic.

You captured the series perfectly, in B&W of course. And I think it was check mate king two this is white rook over. :wink2: Chris

Great series as I was growing up. First few seasons in B&W and the rest colour. Robin.

Rob, What time and station is Combat on where you live? I find that a lot of shows are on at the same time in different parts of the nation. I'd like to see it if its on in Hawaii. FYI, F-Troop is on from 12-1 pm, M-F on the Circle station (used to be THIS station). The HowKowis Indians are hilarious.

Comcast in Montgomery County, Md. (just across the river from Cox Cable in Va.) has a similar line-up on Saturday nights. At 7pm is Baa Baa Blacksheep, 8pm Tour of Duty, 9pm Combat!, 10 & 10:30 is Rat Patrol, and at 11pm is 12 O'Clock High. Just started this past weekend and all episodes shown were #1's in the series, so it appears that the shows will be stripped in order. -- Al

If you can still remember the tune to the COMBAT series, Mike, than you are not "THAT" old.
When you can't remember it, then it is time to worry! :redface2:

Ah yes, the classic Combat! theme music, but how many of you all know the words to the theme music? And, yes, there are words, written by Leonard Adelson to Leonard Rosenman's music. If you want to see the words, go to www.combatfan.com and click on the theme song link. -- Al

WOW Al .... I NEVER knew that there were words.{eek3}

Did they ever sing them on any of the show?
I do have all the seasons on DVD but can't recall any words, I'll have to get them put and enjoy a few nights of the boys!!!!
