Somewhere in France, Saunders and men of King Company have fortified a small town from "The Boche":
more to come...
more to come...
Perfect Larry, you know the script well.King 2 to White Rook <over> King 2 to White Rook <over>
The moment I saw the TITLE: almost that exact image popped into my head … Actually that might give you cause for alarm.
Sarge, Little John, Cage, Kirby, Doc and the <guest> soldier for the week, entering the town and to the awaiting danger.
What a nice way to start my Sunday morning. A cup of coffee, a cinnamon bun and your great COMBAT diorama.
Thanks Chris; I'll have to watch again for a Check Mate. {sm4}You captured the series perfectly, in B&W of course. And I think it was check mate king two this is white rook over.
Seasons 1-4 in B&W. Just the last season (5) in color.Great series as I was growing up. First few seasons in B&W and the rest colour.
Cox Cable Channel 120 KHSV1 Antenna TV, Saturday night at 9:00 pm (Pacific). Followed by two episodes of Rat Patrol from 10-11 pm.Rob, What time and station is Combat on where you live? I find that a lot of shows are on at the same time in different parts of the nation. I'd like to see it if its on in Hawaii. FYI, F-Troop is on from 12-1 pm, M-F on the Circle station (used to be THIS station). The HowKowis Indians are hilarious.
I own the 5th season and a collection of some of the best episodes. I'll go to break them out and end up getting side tracked. ^&grinNicely done Rob ! I have the series on DVD. May watch a few episodes today
Comcast in Montgomery County, Md. (just across the river from Cox Cable in Va.) has a similar line-up on Saturday nights. At 7pm is Baa Baa Blacksheep, 8pm Tour of Duty, 9pm Combat!, 10 & 10:30 is Rat Patrol, and at 11pm is 12 O'Clock High. Just started this past weekend and all episodes shown were #1's in the series, so it appears that the shows will be stripped in order. -- AlSeasons 1-4 in B&W. Just the last season (5) in color.

LOL, I saw this great layout and the 'Combat' theme song immediately broke out in my head...god I'm old.
Ah yes, the classic Combat! theme music, but how many of you all know the words to the theme music? And, yes, there are words, written by Leonard Adelson to Leonard Rosenman's music. If you want to see the words, go to www.combatfan.com and click on the theme song link. -- AlIf you can still remember the tune to the COMBAT series, Mike, than you are not "THAT" old.
When you can't remember it, then it is time to worry! :redface2:
