So very nice to see you posting photos of your collection Youngster. Always a pleasure. Your Crusader/Saracen collection is very very nice. Enjoyed it . . .

Really great collection, both figures and buildings. -- Al

Great seeing the buildings, palms and figures all together in a nice set up.

Thanks for posting.:D

 Yep, it's more in your face than "Your mother was a hampster, and your father smelt of elderberries!" :D

For those who haven't seen the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V7zbWNznbs

Btw, those K & C desert buildings do make a reasonable looking castle.

Matt...I thought that was some "Aussie slang" til I watched the youtube video...that was a very funny scene...that's a great set up Youngster...

Mike, more like British slang mate, I have never seen any Elderberries or Hamsters in Australia, the later being an illegal import. Btw, in Queensland the state where I live you aren't even allowed to keep Rabbits as pets

Btw, those K & C Palms look big suckers, I doubt I would have room for any in my cabinet.

Thank you very much Mike. Always good to hear from you.

You are right, Oz, they are big for a cabinet unless you have a good amount of room between shelves. If you happen to have the Dept 56 palms, here's a picture of them side by side. K&C is on the right.

Thanks for the pic, I do have the smaller Dept 56 set with the built in well. I did have the larger Dept 56 Palms but they were to big and being ceramic I was always worried they would fall and break. The new K & C palms look a little bit smaller than them and I guess are more robust.

How come no Hamsters are allowed and no rabbits for pets?
Mark

Rabbits are banned in Queensland but allowed as pets in most other Australian states provided they are well contained. Rabbits and Hamsters originate from dry climates and are fast breeders. Rabbits were introduced to Australia by British immigrants many years ago and now cost us millions of dollars to keep them in check. Hamsters are banned in Australia as it is suspected they would also prove difficult to control if they escaped to the wild. Btw, many Australians see Hamsters in foreign television shows and get them confused with Gunea pigs which are common in pet shops here.
