Correct. The Waffen SS camo smocks were of a distinct cut and were never produced in feldgrau or plain color, just camo. The helmet covers were also camo patterns and not a solid feldgrau, but thes could be converted to Heer patterns without trouble. -- AlI'm certainly no authority on the Germans, but the SS and Army camo tunics and pants had differences from the wool combat uniform as to details of the cut, pockets, etc. A lot of the figures in the later outfits are also wearing the later combat boot with a canvas "gaiter" that replaced the famous jackboot. As far as "feldgrau" uniforms, one also has to be more specific - invasion of France? 1941 in Russia? 1943 in Russia? 1944 in France?
