Could these sets (1 Viewer)

I'm certainly no authority on the Germans, but the SS and Army camo tunics and pants had differences from the wool combat uniform as to details of the cut, pockets, etc. A lot of the figures in the later outfits are also wearing the later combat boot with a canvas "gaiter" that replaced the famous jackboot. As far as "feldgrau" uniforms, one also has to be more specific - invasion of France? 1941 in Russia? 1943 in Russia? 1944 in France?

Correct. The Waffen SS camo smocks were of a distinct cut and were never produced in feldgrau or plain color, just camo. The helmet covers were also camo patterns and not a solid feldgrau, but thes could be converted to Heer patterns without trouble. -- Al

Gary's correct-some of the uniform pieces could be painted to some shade field gray, like the tunic and the regular trousers, and the field cap. Other pieces of uniform were developed by/for the Waffen-SS, so wouldn't be accurate painted for Wehrmacht. And some of the camo pieces weren't available in field gray, in any case.

I'd do some searches on Google or some other engine for references, too.

Prost!

Wayne....

Would not work with feld grey. However, you could easily winter them up I have done a few and they look great and could then be used for russia, bulge or any winter set you want.
