Scott I hope Santa's very good to you on Christmas morning and Nick thanks for the 10 coming from you it's quite a compliment and Tim looking forward to seeing what you do with the water idea as time goes by. In mid May, 1879 Colonel Drury Lowe of the 17th Lancers, meets up with with newly breveted Lt. Colonel Wilsone Black of the 2 Battalion, 24th Regiment. They need to make sure that the 24th is posted on the road to Isandlwana to protect the Lancers' rear as they go out to the battlefield once more to salvage the wagons still there. Lt. Col. Black had, one month before, the honor of finding finding the Colours of the 24th, and the bodies of VC winners Melville and Coghil.

Indeed, I neglected to give mention to the maker(s) of these specimens. Everybody is from Alymer, except the Welsh unknown maker of the ADC to Lt. Col. Black with cape. Please, I beg your forgiveness. Mike

Don't worry Martyn, it's the same here in Canada. Miserable grey and raining at the mo. If I didn't know any better I'd think I was in the UK

Once again using the backdrop provided by Joe Baker along with some of my Brit Figures and only natural lighting the sun wasn't shinning this AM and no overhead or lamp lighting using my MACRO setting gave me the following results............The Lt.
