One of John's best series, never thought I would be collecting WW1 French, but as Wayne has demonstrated, it is just so good. Robin.

Once again Wayne, your series of photos were an absolute enjoyment to view . . . . . this series certainly proves that a picture is worth a thousand words . . . . .

What a perfect combination of base and background to set the stage for this wonderful presentation. The accessories add a lot to the scene as well. Great scene. Chris

Agree with all the others. This is a very realistic and sobering dio. As Chris says, all the detritus really makes the scene, and the landscape looks as bleak as the many photos of the Verdun battlefield. Very nicely done. -- Al

Very well done. Very atmospheric. :salute::

Another one of your masterpieces Wayne!

As has already been said, your scene evokes the emotion of the long fought war!

Great job!!!!

Thanks all and the likes also.

You must be pleased with the result Wayne, both the lighting and the back drop help set the mood to what is a very sobering scene.

Love the 'groundwork' to mate!
