Another treat tonight, guys ^&grin
My wife, who is from Thailand, cooked today.
Served was a deep fried Tilapia (very crisp), garnished with a commercially available sweet and hot sauce, which was enhanced with some additional heat (dried red hot peppers), garlic and a few drops of oyster sauce. Some Jasmine Rice came on the side.
A rather hot (spicy) dish, but very, very good.
Tilapia is a great fish for this kind of dish. Comes very easily off the bones.
Dessert was plantains, cubed and cooked in coconut milk.
Plantains are some kind of bananas, but much firmer.
Feel a bit closer to firm potatoes than bananas.
Good stuff.
