Hi all,
"Childbirth" was long, but "the baby" has arrived in words!
So I present you the third diorama created for "offer" to my "toy soldiers" FL a new playground!
What can I say?? Well for now, I'm admiring my work in all modesty.
For the record, I started this project in September 2010!
I am attaching the image of my first "coup de crayon" out of my imagination.:eek:
From this sketch, my project turned to sandstone my inspiration throughout these months.
The surprise is less important because you already know much of the scenery and actors.
I already took lots of pictures and also a video you can see on my blog.
To share with all fans FL / NAPS.
A bientôt.Guy.:salute::

It is absolutely wonderful Guy. The attention to detail is incredible, so much so that your photos of "Dresden" look like postcards of the actual city . . . . so very life like. You have honored First Legion with your beautiful endeavor and have left us viewers in total amazement. Just brilliantly done and executed . . . . I would consider this one of the best, if not the best, diorama I have ever seen on this forum. {bravo}}{bravo}}
:) Mike

Wow Guy, that is amazing! As Mike said, probably the best diorama ever posted on the forum. Everything about it is great, from the wide variety of units to how seamlessly you brought them all together into one large scene. Just perfect, all the way around. Plus, your scenic elements also add a lot. You should be very proud of your efforts!

Fantastic Diorama, it doesnt get any better than that . Thanks for posting the shots.

Thank you all for words of praise for my work.:eek::eek::eek:

I just update my blog: more pictures (Best quality on forum) in "Dresden album" and also added a video on my page.
Feel free to visit me.:rolleyes::)
Cordially.
Guy.

Guy,
Thanks for posting the pictures; agree with other forum members in that this is perhaps the most spectacular diorama ever shown on this forum.

I'll take it a step further; it is one of the best dioramas shown anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

You are a master craftsman and do brilliant work.

Was wondering if you could explain what reference materials you used to construct such a brilliant diorama, ie, what was your inspiration for this.

I have to agree with the others about that being the best Diorama posted on here yet!!!!{eek3} Its simply incredible and the fact that you constructed the thing from scratch! ^&cool So now the question is how are you going to top that on the next one?????
First legion should be sending you free figures for how you have made there figures shine in your dioramas, INCREDIBLE!!!^&cool

Thank you, thank you all for the compliments.:eek::eek:
It's getting late in France, I went to bed.:)
I will post later all stages of construction of my diorama, with pictures and explanations to show how the progress was made.
A bientôt.Guy.
