While coming down the ladder, fixing a ceiling light; I brushed against my Roman Fort, which was not secure to the brackets. It was late at night, looked at it and went to bed. Celebrated my birthday the next day and picked up the pieces the following day. Casualties: six dead and ten wounded.

Ouch! That's always sad experience.

Steve...
when you first sent me that picture...it was a small file...
now that you posted a larger pic on here...the damage looks even worse......

I'm so sorry this happened to you...
I know you spent a lot of time creating this...especially those fantastic towers...

I know you're very passionate about your displays...

what a frickin' bummer...
I hope you can salvage some of your dio and repair most of your figures...

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy...
that really sucks!

That’s upsetting. My fear is I will do something similar. I often get angry at my big feet when I kick one of my floor dioramas. Robin

Robin...
I use a 3 tier glass shelf cabinet to display 3 of my collections...
it's a constant fear for me too...
thank God nothing drastic has happened yet!

I think we all worry about that. I am using large acrylic dust covers over my dioramas which need to be lifted if I need to access my figures. Very time I worry I will drop one.

Dang Steve that's a real cuss word event.{eek3}

Hope you're able to repair it to it's former glory :salute::

Steve, you'll understand if I don't give this a like vote. I get annoyed when a couple of figs fall over. Can't imagine what it would be like with something like this. Chris

Holy crap Steve, I'm so sorry! It's all of our worst nightmare. All of those dead and wounded and hours of fortification construction lost. To see the soldiers are strewn across the floor like that just makes me cringe. Hopefully you can restore the dio and mend the wounded. I feel for you man!

Joe

Wow Steve! What an awful event to have happened on the heels of your birthday. I can just imagine the sickening pit in your stomach this must have caused. Very, very sorry this happened to you.
