I think the model is OK. If the wing flaps are not drooping, the wheel bay doors probably wouldn't be down either - still pressure in the hydraulics. I think it looks more odd with one down but not the other. But I don't see any problem with the wheel bay doors in the closed position on a static model.

Landing flaps should be in "landing position" if we are talking breaking parts look at the Typhoon. Please correct before shipping out!!!!

Just double checked on the net and 99.9 % show it with wheel covers down , but don't think it will stop people buying them , saying that just got Corgi 1/32 RAF P-51K and you have the option to have them up or down

It may look odd but again, it is not. If the plane were landing, the flaps would be down and the inner doors would be up. See the TO and Landing link I posted earlier. If it were taking off, the flaps would be up or no more than 20% down and the inner doors would be up. If the plane is parked it would be fine to show them up, which is most normal for WWII operations aircraft or down, which means the system switch I noted had been released. Normally the flaps would be up unless intentionally put down to facilitate maintenance. Flap bleed down was rare for WWII aircraft and is more a sign of system wear.

Tom and Wayne, what about the dancing girls, they would look good on the tank ^&grin

Don't tempt me Matt! If i grab the girls then i will have to start collecting the AE series and that will open up a whole new world of hurt for my wallet! {eek3}{sm2}{sm4}

Yes it is and i have been looking forward to the Normandy release of this vehicle even though it's coming out as a FOB pre-Normandy. I reckon it will fit in nicely for the post DD landings.

Here are some of the Dad's army home guard chaps. just really good figures!!!!
Mitch

Yes, I love especially their faces...Very realistic ,different from each other and expressive, the best on the toysoldier market ( unlike the winter and summer germans whose faces are not so nice in my opinion).

Tom:

You are a better man than me. I think I need more rehabilitation because I am already having K&C German toy soldier withdrawals. I need a dose, hopefully the Afrika Korps releases can satisfy my need for a fix. I did say “hopefully”…….

Best,
Jason

Jason mate, my hands were trembling when i saw there were no Jerries in the new releases, but im getting in some retired Jerries soon as well as the new AK Hanomag, sdkfz222 and flak so that will take care of my fix for a little while at least! {sm3}
