Hi Guys,
One of the reasons I prefer Polystone is its durability (as a few posters have said). It can take the knocks and hard handling some models get.
I also like the “heft”… there’s something about picking up and holding a nice big hunk of polystone and metal that is very “tactile”…
Plastic by comparison is beautiful but fragile and over the years can sometimes deteriorate and be prone to chemical reactions.
Having said that I still like it… Heck I’ve even got a 1/72 Avro Lancaster made by airfix (back when Granny was a boy) that Gordon and me built and painted in the mid 60’s!!!
Anyway, I know I am biased but I also love Polystone!
Best wishes and happy collecting!
