Elephant Battery (1 Viewer)

Thanks Konrad,

Not yet, are you interested?

Jeff

Sorry, Jeff,
although I love many, many figures from all kinds of periods, both in glossy and matte, I just enjoy to look at them and talk about them.
Have to stick to my FIW theme, some AWI. Offers are plentiful on only those periods.
I ventured out too many times, will not do it again.
But nevertheless your thread here is a great pleasure to watch.

Konrad,

That’s ok; I have the same problem and try to stick to my themes as well. I only paint glossies now for pleasure and the odd commission (keep your eyes open for a new thread soon). BTW I think your Britains classic collection that you have posted over a few threads is rather impressive.

Thanks again

Jeff

Didn’t like the way the khaki turned out…it needed a second coat. So after painting the belt, the go faster stick and the face and hands I gave the tunic etc another coat of khaki but a different shade, which hopefully, looks a lot better.

Prefer the 2nd colour. I'd better get the 'go faster' stick working on myself.

Simon,

Thanks for the vote ;) This figure doesn’t come with an emergency brake like some other elephant models have………a big sharp spike .

Added a few more details like the puttees etc. and the whites of the eyes.

Hi Jeff-

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Pierre.

Pierre,

Thank you for taking an interest :) Painting the RHA set for Brad last year has re-kindled my enthusiasm for painting.

Pat,

Thank you for your kind words (as usual), I’ve got some other painting work to do after this, so these threads could go on for a while.

I would have to agree with Pat......these types of threads are great.

I may need to pick your brains about an RHA I am considering painting myself.
