ex-tankers advise Brad Pitt M4 Sherman movie (3 Viewers)

Looking at the lower photo, I don't think I've ever seen an M18 Hellcat in a movie before.
There's an M10 tank destroyer in A BRIDGE TOO FAR.

LATEST UPDATE:

FRIDAY, MAY 2

FURY---new photos released from the World War II movie starring Brad Pitt as the commander of an M4 Sherman tank behind German lines in the last days of the war in Europe. Writer/director David Ayer (TRAINING DAY) said, "I set out to make the ultimate tank movie. " Ayer commented on the movie's German Tiger I tank, the only Tiger I still running, "I couldn't tell you how much insurance this thing had on it – it was crazy. It actually ended up performing really well. It's like the tank was happy to get out of the barn and run around. These tanks like to run hard. That's what they're built for." Shia LaBeouf, Jon Bernthal, Logan Lerman and Michael Pena also star. Premiere is November 14.

Yes, hopefully it will be a quality film but having an authentic Tiger tank is a good start!

Will be nice to get another good quality WW11 film, although should not complain, that recent Generation War was pretty good. Robin.

I heard the makers of "Stalingrad" where ask for advice on the movie.....................^&grin^&grin

wow, can't wait to see it..

always had a thing for tanks; especially since I commanded an M60 back in my day..

The trailer points to a promising film, the short scenes shown are great and apparently very accurate! I hope its the case since it`s been a while since a good WWII movie is released...

Can't wait for this one but yeah, hope it's not overdone! Looking forward to seeing the action scenes between the Sherman "fury" and the last authentic still running Tiger!

M60s were fun to train on but the M1 was something else! Totally enjoyed my time on both tanks and cant wait to see this flick!
