Fear The Walking Dead (2 Viewers)

I liked it too, I thought it was a very good episode.................

I am learning valuable zombie survival skills from FTWD. When you are needing food and water, you head to the largest and most indefencible building, split up into 2 groups where the adults sit arround and get drunk and the other 2 do a couple rooms and take time out to take a shower. It is ok to take off and leave your buddy, in the shower, without backup. It is OK to throw things and play, loud piano
in order to draw all nearby zombies to you, etc. etc. Then wearing zombie guts, it is ok to keep walking into a hail of bullets, and when found and on a special mission, we shoplift from a gang store and let the bad guys know that you have drugs they need..at your secret compound that these bad guys somehow cannot find..WE ARE ALL SO DEAD IF THE FANS ARE TAKING NOTES. Terrible writing, passable acting ,no enjoyable characters. Michael

I enjoy it for what it is, entertainment. You do realize it is a television show? Fiction?

There are Zombie B and C movies that were done better. There are still basic rules for any zombie universe. This has been a AMC throw away from the beginning. Use the WD fans to fuel the viewing numbers with a program at a fraction of the cost to produce. The fans have been conned from the beginning and the ratings and forums are starting to show their distain. Michael

Certainly the case for me. Watched the first episode of the season and probably won't bother with the second. I just can't be bothered any longer. No where near as good as the original WD. -- Al

As much of a fan of all things zombie that I am, this last episode was pretty idiotic. As soon as he started pounding those horseteeth, I knew that was a bad idea. Not to mention zombies can fall several stories from a hotel balcony and then just get up and keep walking, no broken bones then huh? I have no idea how they are going to get out from behind that bar, much less get out of the hotel.

And the gang just chilling in the middle of a zombie invasion was pretty comical; no fenced in compound, they're just hanging out with their machine guns waiting for them to stroll up one by one?

I was interested in this show because it takes from right from the beginning of the outbreak, as opposed to The Walking Dead, which takes place basically from the time Rick wakes up in the hospital.

Will keep watching as my Sunday nights are occupied now with Fear the Walking Dead and The Strain, soon to be mixed in to Sunday night football.......................then we go right into the next season of The Walking Dead, so it's all good...............

George, you really ought to check out Z Nation from SYFI. I am a big fan and own the first 2 seasons. Bang for your buck action, likable characters, a basic mission with different locales, native americans, mexicans, guns, knives, and even an atom bomb blast..Lot of tongue in cheak fun. Michael

One step ahead of you, I'm a fan of the show, especially Murphy.................

The best part so far is that the annoying stepdad and his weird kid have had no role. Our luck is up next week though from the previews.

Am totally hating this show...Just like WD, more human drama queens and scenes rather than Zombie wacking. No sense of anxiety for the dead with folks being able to take showers, have campsites in the open, loudly playing a piano, getting drunk and endless dialogue with the heavy dose of just plain bad dudes. I cannot believe the writer is getting paid for dialogue and scenes that most watchers know are coming. Any surprise that Chris is an *** and now a murderer? mICHAEL

I like last night's episode myself.Sit back and enjoy it.People do stupid things in life so I'm sure they would do it in that world also.

I find all the characters to be annoying but the show has picked up. I'm still watching. I do agree that the zombies have largely became lame both in this show and WD. I remember at the very beginning of WD that the zombies were kicking butt but now every school kid up can take out a zombie army. Time for the zombies to start evolving to make it a more sporting contest.

As survivors learn how to survive they would overcome the initial terror and learn how to defeat the zombies

The same could be said for viewers and we could move on to other shows. :wink2: Speaking of which the new Exorcist and American Horror Story are looking promising. All the good horror stuff is now on TV and not in the theaters.

Yes you could move to other shows but you don't.Last year's AHS was the best one since season 2.I stopped watching seasons 3 and 4 as I couldn't get into them.As for the Exorcist they are starting it on Friday nights which is not a good sign.Did you guys watch Outcast on Cinemax? That was good.Written by Robert Kirkland, the guy who created WD.

Tales from the Crypt comes back next year on TNT I believe.Looking forward to Westworld as well and one called Aftermath on SYFY{eek3}.

Interst in this show seems to have really dropped. I sort of like the last few episodes. They killed off the most annoying character and the main cast is starting to show some True Grit for a change.

I thought this season was very good, the whole concept of being on water got old really fast.

Now they're heading back to the US of A, will be interested to see where things go from here.

I too thought it got better.Sometimes shows have growing pains.

I have stopped caring...Not sure if I am interested in WD anymore, as I already know how the plot is going to be for the next bunch of episodes..:(.Michael
