GREAT photos ! I really regret that I didn't grab one of those winter panzer IV's... D'Oh !!
Seemed like they vanished as soon as they hit the market.

They were around for a while, but not that long. I had ordered one through a dealer who told me there was one coming, but after a long wait phoned his supplier only to be told they were sold out. I looked everywhere but couldn't find one by then. Almost a year later, the same supplier listed an HB AFV as in stock, but couldn't find it. He said he would have a good look in the storeroom - and he did find the HB model - along with a carton of 6 Figarti winter Panzer IVs  You never know. Over the years, I have purchased at least 7 long sold out AFVs rescued from the forgotten corners of the dealers storerooms, including 2 at Treefrog.

Wow, great lesson for the future. In addition to the Figarti Winter PzkwIV, I also missed the HB winter jagdpanther-another regret.

Hi all, Just thought I'd throw up a few misc. pics from my Figarti collection. These pics are nowhere near the quality of panda1gen's, but hopefully they are still are a lot of fun! Joe

Joe,

Again, a fantastic dio, which displays some excellent pieces, you have yourself a pretty decent Figarti collection.

Good use of the “Lost in the Desert” set, they look excellent and are at home in a European setting. I know they are still available from dealers, they are on my hit list for sure.

Great close up of the Hurricane Sherman, I haven’t really considered this piece, but it looks great in this setting, without the stacks. Again thanks for sharing. Alby

Thank you for the kind words, Alby. Yes indeed, you spotted the "Lost in the Desert" set; good eye! I wanted to include some foot soldiers along w/ my growing caravan of Allied vehicles, and I thought, why not use these figures in this theater? Not historically correct, but it works for me. And franky, I don't know the vehicles and regiments well enough to know what was used where and when...I just enjoy the heck out of these things, even if I don't always know what I'm doing!:p Thanks again for the compliments. The amount of Figarti vehicles I have accumulated is begiining to scare me a little!:eek:;):D

Joe

Great dio Joe and i agree with Alby good use of different figures like the dead fella hanging out the window.
