Figarti vehicles with First legion vehicles (1 Viewer)

Rob..

I am not so sure I agree after careful thought!!

I think in the end its down to common sense. If you think something looks good and works well together, then do it, if not don't!

There is such a thing as over analizing:)

I have been looking deeper into this issue. I have everything torn apart.....I am disgusted....I cant even go into explaining every scale / size difference. I found.:mad::mad: :confused:

But I will make it work. :D

And that is why there are repeated discussions on scale and comparisons of AFVs between manufacturers. There is a lot of variation - mostly minor and acceptable. But the size differences between 1:28, 1:30, 1:32 and 1:35 a very noticeable when placed side by side. Also true for figures when placed side by side. I suppose the issue is most important to diorama makers, especially if the do large dios with several AFVs and have them com from different manufacturers or different production periods.

yup !

Here is an example of scale differences and mixing manufacturers. The scene has figures from 4 different manufacturers and AFVs in 3 different scales. To my eye, only one item looks a bit wrong.

I think you already knew that beforehand. :rolleyes2:{sm4} The figures all go together, all are the large K&C style. By grouping similar sized AFVs (i.e. small tanks, spgs and armoured cars) it seems to work ok. Grouping small 1:30 AFVs with 1:32 large AFVs like a Panzer IV or tiger looks terrible - the small 1:30 AFVs are too close in size to the 1:32 large AFVs. Grouping large AFVs at 1:30 with small 1:32 AFVs doesnt work either - like monsters with dwarves.
