Hi Guys,
Thanks “Firebat” for your note of appreciation of our upcoming Ambulance and wounded figures… I look forward to seeing them in your dioramas.
Personally I’ve always loved ambulances… stretcher parties… wounded soldiers—Not in real life you understand, only in miniature. I think they enhance any battle type scenario plus give us all a wee bit of reality in our toy soldier/military miniature fantasies.
The Dodge Ambulance has been a personal favourite of mine since K&C’s earliest “Polystone Days”.
It was also one of the first U.S. Army vehicles we produced. Although that early model was a bit crude by today’s standards I think it’s still a great looking little vehicle. Here’s a photo of old and new together.
Thanks again Firebat and best wishes to one and all,
Andy C.
With only 250 of the winter version being made I hope the retailers will NOT ALLOW multiple purchases by the "speculators"![]()
With all due respect, this is soo tiring.
My money is as good as yours!! If I am financially able to buy more than 1 then that is my business alone.
It is not for you or anyone else to decide how many I buy.
Vezzolf,
Should my dealer, Brett Williams, under your criteria stop me from buying the three EA57 Beford Trucks (Limited to 150) that I have on order and so much love to complete my Tobruk dio and resup my Matildas.
I really think your obsession with secondary sales has gone too far. I have never sold any of my K&C collection but I have in the past given away some multiples to collector mates who missed out on retired sets. They are good mates and I know they would appreciate them and not sell them on Ebay. Collecting between mates is about more than the holy dollar.
Have a good think about the matter and maybe we will talk about it in Chicago, if you attend.
Cheers Howard
