First Legion: PanzerIII (1 Viewer)

Do you think the detail on these tanks is better than HB? Just interested as I have not seen one in person but, have plenty HB both general and Gold. I am interested as I would like to know from someone as enthusiastic as yourself about their quality.

Mitch, I only have the HB Winter Panther and HB Winter Jadgpanther not the greatest detail but good..(IMO)....They are not gold editions as you probably know which probably are more detailed HB products....But.... First Legion's PanzerIII is "very detailed"....It would be hard to find something more detailed then this tank....The paint is also right on....I think this is a great model.......The pictures don't lie on the FL website....I have not been disappointed with their products yet.....Hope this helps Best Regards Frank

I used to build tank models way back when, This looks, in this picture, to have model tank detail. Great pictures.

Me too , But I never got close to this level :eek: . If I could build and paint my own ATVs to this level , I would be doing it . People who have that kind of talent have their creations on a site such as this http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery.htm . The rest of us guys buy the finished product :D IMO First Legion provide a great service buy selling products finished to this level . Try and buy something at this level..... believe me First Legion are cheap in comparison. A figure at this level for under $50.00 :eek: there is nothing else close to that , and First Legion are a bargain . A nice figure kit buy a quality company such as Andrea will cost you $30.00 depending on how bad the dollar is doing that day . Then trying to find someone to paint it to First Legions level for under 20 bucks :eek: that's not gonna happen , not to mention nobody and I mean nobody offers the number of variations for a single release that FL do just look at the Napoleonic Russians or Prussians to name but two ...A Panzer III at this level would cost you $$$$:eek: ..That's just one of the reasons why I'm really big on First Legion , IMO they are the best you can get for the money by far . Thanks for that. I am going to get some of the wifes family to send some stuff over the pond so, I wanted to know from someone who is well into the stuff. I can hear the money orders being sent.

artmabigor, you are correct - I am presently moving away from artificial lighting and toward natural light, the sunshine is therefore real.
 
Grat looking pics, right now I'm having a hard choice which to get first, the grey Panzer or the winter version?? not a bad choice either way, but my heart has always belonged to the winter version of war...Sammy
