Rob,
it sure doesn't offend me..... I love reading what the guys are punting on.....
But this month, I've just got a feeling, going on the comments that Andy posted with the April Dispatches, about the production hassels, so I thought it could be a good way of taking a breath, slowing down and then clear some stock ( more retirements) before new releases when the production staff get back into gear.
I think it could be a few months of 'lean pickings', BUT as long as the standard doesn't drop, I'm sure we will be very happy collectors, whatever our era of collecting is.
Roll on next week, May 2nd isn't it ????
John
Rob - it is a gazetted public holiday in Hong Kong this Monday, 2 May.
Has there ever been a monthly release without featuring any new German figures?
does anyone know if Andy does the dispatches himself ???? surely even if his staff are off they could be done on the first of the month Chinese holiday or not????? they are done from a computer which, can be done anywhere and easily
Mitch
I'm this month as I think it good be a great one , do you think were see the Typhoon this month Rob as well ^&confuseDoes anyone else hold off on placing an order in the run up to Dispatches, just in case something comes along and they change their mind?

Are be happy with both this month ^&grin , got the K&C plane bug bad{sm2}Well Neil, if we are getting the Bowsers this month it would be a big ask to hope for the Typhoon as well, but then again K&C are really good at springing surprises on us so nothing is impossible!:smile2::wink2:
I don't mind if they are in different months myself, spread the cost a little^&cool

Rob
I certainly do, Rob. And the likely increase in the number of retirements make holding off on purchases until dispatches even more of a necessity for me.
I'm thinking of purchasing a number of things - the AK Panzer III, the Grant, the Normandy Village piece, maybe even some of the Italian releases, to name a few. No way I would buy all that in one month, but I defintiely have a "to buy list"
If, say, a Typhoon (or even better, a Stuka) comes out, I will probably hold off on other things since warbirds have become a priority for me (and they sell out faster that AFVs, it appears).
Retirements throw a monkey wrench in things...if there's something on my list I see retiring it will move ahead of the pack.
I'm in the same boat Mark, I really don't want to miss the church ruin either as I have a dio in mind for , it's all about choices now , but it does help narrow your collecting plan.
Rob
But what if this is the month that another Normandy building is dispatched - would you still want the church?
