Didn't think of that. When was the last time there was a month without an AFV?

If it's Arnhem, maybe some XXX Corps armor? I'd love to see an armored command vehicle like the one Michael Caine rode in a Bridge Too Far.

Actually I meant the piece of armour normally released with the D Day ranges, but now you come to mention it there is often a monthly AFV. However I'm just shooting the breeze as D Day stuff can be released May/June/July/Aug so it could be any of those months.

I would also echo Wayne re the Aussies for NA, they are surely on the way.

The more I think about it the more I think we will see a lot of retirements this month, its been 'too quiet' on the retirement front and we are bound to see a few this month.

Whatever is coming we know one thing, it'll be very good and most welcome, K&C have a knack of doing that:wink2::salute::

I am looking for a quiet month, since various circumstances have had a major impact on my budget lately, but if the fuel bowser is a short release, I suppose I will have to pull the trigger on that one and sell off something else to get it. It looks terrific and is one of the few items I have always put on my must have list.

Yep the bowser is a no question item, got to have it as it will go so well with all the other RAF. I've a feeling a LOT of stuff will be retired too this month, just a hunch as its been quiet of late on that front.

I don't like those feelings you have Rob but you are right about there being very few retirements of late and it has to change sooner or later. Please let there be no crusaders being retired.

The Bedford fuel tanker seems a favourite for release later today or very soon.

I love reading the interests of forum members wanting this or that. War is about improvisation. A recent photo I came across shows (I think) a Bf109 fighter being refuelled at Jersey Airfield circa 1940. The Germans didn't need their own fuel tanker.
