Great season 8 opener . . . for me it was the fastest hour on TV today . . . .
:smile2: Mike

I bought two bags of the special GOT Oreos for this! {sm4}{sm4} One bag didn't make it past Friday lol

It was a pretty good show but just overall had a "well look here- you haven't seen this actor/tress in 2 years- here's what they look like now" sort of feel to it- I think the depth of writing wasn't there as much as in prior seasons. The scene with Danni, Jorrah and Sam seemed rushed and forced but the acting was good. The end was exciting and tense but not sure what they are hoping to ultimately do with it as no one (from a character standpoint) likes Jaimie.

If there is a God in heaven, Jon Snow will die a gruesome death and The Hound will sit on the Iron Throne. I thought for a brief moment last night that my wildest dream might actually come true and one of the dragons torch Jon Friggin Snow right there on the spot! {sm4}:salute::

after 2 years...
I expected a little more action than Theon and the short rescue scene...
cleaving the face of a door sentry with an axe...
while a few of his cohorts shot arrows into some of Euron's guards watching over Yara...
ending the action scenes with little Lord Umber stuck hanging on a wall and set on fire...

if Tyrion irritated the Northerners...they're gonna really hate Jamie...

next weeks upcoming trailer looks like the anticipated battle between the White Walkers and the Northern alliances will finally begin...

I'm sure they will all come together when the battle begins...

really anxious to see some dragon vs dragon fights...
and I do love me some Dorthraki Blood riders too...

I hope the prequel will come to fruition...

Yeah, that was what I was saying too! I mean cmon, you get this EPIC battle scene at the end of the last season and then this little "m'ehhh" battle.

God I still wish that dragon TORCHED John Friggin Snow lol

I'm sure this will all come together in an exciting fashion so Ill wait with baited breath.

a even more uneventful episode than last weeks...

this was a rarity...
probably the first episode in 8 seasons of GOT without a drop of blood being spilled...
I don't think they can avoid it next week with the White Walkers on their doorsteps...
hope the dragons are awake...

It was a good episode. The basically wanted to show you where everyone is at in their lives. Next 4 episodes are almost 90 minutes each. You know how GOT is,everything quiet then out of the blue they sledgehammer you.

Episode one: everyone saying hello.
Episode two: everyone saying goodbye.

At this point, every main character (excepting Cersei) has redeemed itself and can die next week without saying another word. Let the grieving begin.

I think Arya spilt some .......

This battle next week could be unreal! They killed off main characters with seasons upcoming. With it being the last season, everyone of fair game!

It’s been fun knowing you all.

I think it has been mentioned six times in two episodes that the crypts (full of dead people!) are safe. Why wouldn’t they?

I understand the last three episodes is snow blowing over Winterfell and its lands. Very therapeutic image after the carnage in ep 3

The crypts are safe until the entire stark lineage comes back to life to fight with the walkers

Who’s up to “go fund me” of the fireplace chat group as toy soldiers?
