GAME OF THRONES Season 8 (2 Viewers)

Agree with the other posts on body count. Regarding the Dragons- Drogon def lived (big boy) as the Night King was killed in the nick of time for him to survive the leeches feeding on him as he flew away. John's Dragon agree, I don't know yet but agree according to online commentary, both Drogon and Rhaegal survived albeit damaged. Like the ep, but 2 issues:

A> Who was the Night King???? I still want the back story on that as I have read the books, but still don't fully understand.

B> The Dragons should have been more invincible and a better fight between the 3. The one coming after John appeared to be Viserion. And found it total BS that Drogon scorched the Night King to no effect? HUH? He killed all the other Walkers with fire, that just made no sense.

Tom...

I read the same thing online about both of Dany's dragons surviving...
I don't know their names...
we will just have to wait til next Sunday...

with the huge success of GOT...
there is talk of an HBO prequel series...
a time frame maybe 100-300 years before the time frame of GOT...
the idea is in it's early stages...

I read casting has started for the prequel. Hoping it’s true!

Re the dragons, next week scenes appear to show two flying

I also want the night king story and what’s the connection with him and bran. Bran pretty much boiled down to glorified bait and there has to be more to it then that. And if just bait, why? Why would the night king risk all to get to bran?

I appreciate the dragon guide...
but I can't tell them apart...
I don't want to be politically incorrect...
"but they all look the same to me"...^&grin

on an online forum...
one of the GOT hardcore fanatics...
claims the only dragon shown flying in the sky...
in the trailer for episode 4...
is in fact the one that I thought had died in episode 3...

claiming 2 of Dany's dragons are still alive,,,

I know the Night Walker's dragon died...
but I thought one of the other two (Dany's or Jon's) had died...
I dunno...

Drogon, named after Khal Drogo, black with red markings. Larger and more aggressive than his siblings, he is also the mount of Daenerys Targaryen.

Rhaegal, named after Rhaegar Targaryen, green with bronze markings. ...

Viserion, named after Viserys Targaryen, creamy white, with gold markings.

As I understand by watching some of the GOT extras on HBO On Demand, the Night King could only be killed with Velarian steel because of the way he was created. That's why the dragon fire did not destroy him. I still do not fully understand how the Night King came to be.

There's a 40 minute making of episode 3 on HBO on demand. You can see things much better.
Mark

This was a very good and well worth watching . . . quite a few questions were answered for me.

We watched the episode again with my wife tonight and I found it even more impressive than seeing it the first time. We turned off the lights and that actually helped to emphasize the mood of chaos, mayhem and so forth.

I also just watched the 40 minute making of the Long Night and that was fascinating, principally how they made the episode. How they do these episodes is quite amazing.

I’ve never read the books but might give them a try.

I'm going to watch it again also in the dark like Brad. It's amazing how they do these shows. Some really talented people.

I always watch in “movie mode”. Lights dimmed- way better

Brad, the books are really good. So much detail that an hour long show misses

Aarya will be on the Iron throne with the male she had relations with!

Scott

Why would Blackbob be upset that he saw it after you did?
