Excellent Carlo ! :salute:: {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Reminds me of my visit to Herculaneum and Pompeii many years ago.

So much history, great food, wine and beautiful scenery. Hope to get back to Italy some day !

Steve

A roman street, that's something unusual! {sm3}{sm3}{sm3}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

10th Anniversary

It was September 2010 when I joined this fantastic Forum.
I began this pleasing adventure with the drive of my great friend Mike Miller (and a great artist and manufacturer named John) who recommended me to join a big family of Collectors and History lovers.

In all these years I have been lucky enough to know many fine guys, learn many things and I have had the chance to increase my passion and introduce my works about dioramas with the appreciation of many Members.
Thanks to everyone for their friendship and support, I also consider the Forum a small but important means to strengthen the international community.

Cheers
Carlo

Are you familiar with "Forced Perspective Photography?" I ask because your service station and model would make excellent subjects for the technique. Basically, it involves taking your setup outdoors and photographing it against assorted, real objects (cars, streets, buildings, etc.) that are juxtaposed in such a way as to have the whole thing appear as one. In other words, setting the picture up in such a way as to have your "service station," or other model(s), blend into a neighborhood or other setting. Here's an example:

The autos in the foreground are all models. The area that they're parked on is a terrain board that was setup in front of a shopping center and photographed. Guys that are into this seem to have a LOT of fun with the whole deal.:D
