Heco Tinplate Models (2 Viewers)

Here are the photos Louis just sent me and I have to say that ambulance is one of the best looking vehicles I have ever seen.

By the way, who made the pilot and the injured pilot on the stretcher next to the ambulance. Is that Heco as well?

Thanks for posting the photos, Brad!:)

The two figures (the guy and the stretcher and the guy kneeling beside him giving him a cigarette) are both Frontline, from the glossy crew of the Memphis Belle.

Re: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

You know, I went back through this entire thread last night, and I was amazed at all the wonderful Heco items of which we have managed to post photographs. Its an archive of Tony and Adele's magnificent handiwork, so its only fitting that it be indexed. Here is a list of all the photographs on the thread, indexed by the post # they appear in:

I found a collector with three Heco pieces, including a Junkers CL1 Floatplane, and am presently trying to negotiate either a purchase or a trade of one of my floatplanes to obtain the German WWI Floatplane.

Good luck on the trade, Louis. The Junkers is a really neat aircraft and would be a great addition to your collection. Would love to see it if and when possible. -- Al

Thanks. I hope to add it, even if I have to give up one of my British floatplanes to get it.

Not like you have a shortage of HECO.....................Envy not criticism

If you know anything about me and old glossy K&C, I am kind of addicted to being a completist - I won't be happy until I find one of each model, and as far as I can tell, there are at least 188 different models, so, with only 52 Heco items, several of which are duplicates, I have a long way to go . . .:p;)

Great photos. You really have to see these models in person to appreciate the workmanship and detail. I am always in awe of them.

I totally agree, Walt. If Kevin (Panda1gen) comes to visit me this coming year, I will get him to take some phots of my Heco collection to post on here, as he is an infinitely better photographer than I.

Picked up a really spectacular Pflaz DIII.:cool: I will forward some photos to Brad once it arrives.

The gentleman I bought it from indicated he has one or two other Heco items to sell. I hope to purchase them as well. ;)

My Pfalz DIII arrived today, and it is really nice.:cool: I will take some photos tomorrow, including a comparison shot with my Pfalz DIX, and forward them to Brad with a polite request that he post them for me.:)

I just e-mailed Brad some photos of my new Pfalz DIII, with a polite request that he post them for me on this thread. The first few are of it right out of the box with the certificate. The remainder are shots of it on the airfield next to a Heco Tinplate Pfalz DIX.

Here are the photos :)
