Heco Tinplate Models (5 Viewers)

I just sent Terry and Brad three more photos of a Heco Tinplate WWI British MK I tank with an opening hatch and a standing full figure commander, with a polite request that one of them post them on this thread.:smile2: You can see the MK IV tank to the right in one of the photos (it has a squared-off wooden beam strapped to the rear top of the tank).

Wonderfull piece. Love the open hatch with commander.. So when do we get together for a mega Heco buy again? HINT!, HINT! Michael

Michael,

If you are hinting that you have "a mega Heco buy" lined up, and need participants, you know I am in . . . :wink2:

I know this goes without saying but you have an amazing Heco collection Louis.

You are the one with the magic find the stuff skills. Just wanted you to know that I am still interested in Heco..Michael

Of course if I find a collection I will share, and I would never forget you are interested, Michael. Lately, I have found single pieces, mostly via ebay. However, I always keep my fingers crossed that one of the single item sellers will have more Heco to sell. Also, Clive always keeps an eye open for Heco in Europe for us, so hopefully we will come across a collection for sale sooner or later.

I am still trying to find any of the big WWII aircraft, like the Junkers JU52, the Supermarine S6 Schneider Trophy winning floatplane, the Fiesler Storch, the Austin and Crossley Armored Cars, the Renalt FT17 and Sturmpanzerkraftwagon A7V tanks, the Mobile Pigeon Loft Truck, the WWI German Gunboat, and several of the buildings, like the hospital and canteen.

The Heco Standard two-seater Biplane Floatplane safely arrived yesterday.:smile2: I will try to take some photos and send them to Brad and Terry with a polite request that they post them on this thread.:wink2:

I'm trying to keep you out of further trouble: it's very taxing {eek3}

I just picked up three wonderful CJB Models vehicles, two military and one civilian, one of which I have offered to pass along to Luiz, the other CJB Models enthusiast on this forum. My favorite of the three is a magnificent Humber "Ironside" Light Recon. Armored Car, with a full figure standing commander with binoculars and a half figure operating the bren gun in the turret. The other military model is a LIGHT DRAGON Mk11 GUN TRACTOR. The civilian model is a 1924-31 MORRIS COMMERCIAL 'T' type('tonner')TRUCK, in light yellow and blue "OXO" advert on the side. Here is the item description for the Lorry:

"This model represents one of the first trucks that Morris Commercial Cars introduced in 1924. An original vehicle has survived and is part of the British Industry Heritage Trust collection. CJB MODELS are individually made and hand cast in quality white metal. This model has a removable tinplate tilt, drop down tailgate and rubber tyres; the cab roof is removable to gain access to the driver figure if required. The OXO advert is a one off for this model and will never be repeated.The colour painted is pale yellow and not cream as it appears on the pictures(camera over exposure)."

I will e-mail Brad links to photos of the items with a polite request that he post them on this thread.:smile2:
