Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

They are neat!
I don't collect Heco, but 1/72 Corgi German aircraft.

The float planes are very interesting. Here is a Junkers JU-52 - Luftwaffe, Operation Weserubung, Norway 1940...

Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

That is one cool Junkers JU52 floatplane! I love floatplanes! I have some cool K&C Warbird Floatplanes, including a Japanese Seiran Floatplane and a German Arado Floatplane, but I have yet to get my hands on a Heco a floatplane.

Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

Well, my friend Clive is at it again . . . I should be receiving some more old Heco Catalogues and photos . . . and I will be buying the Heco Hawker Hurricane I have been after.:cool::cool::cool: Also, he has located another potential source of Heco . . . a collector who is getting married and will be selling off some Heco.

Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

I found a shop that has three Heco items in stock, at rather inflated prices:

Heco WWII Hawker Hurricane $595
Heco WWII Tiger Tank $595
Heco WWII Fokker DR1 TriPlane $695

I have all of these, but if anyone else is interested, let me know, and I will pass along the contact information.

Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

I was really pleased to find this thread with it's many, many posts.

I know Tony Williams of HECO very well indeed, in fact I am his daughter and feel so proud that people are still collecting and looking out for his work :D

What might be a fair market price for these? Michael

Your dad's work is truly an artform. I hope you show him this thread and let him know how much his work is still appreciated.

Re: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

I obtained a Heco Royal Navy floatplane at the Chicago Show. Pictures to follow when I get a chance.

Re: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

I just snagged a Heco two seater pusher plane on ebay. When it arrives I will take some shots of it and the floatplane and ask Brad or Brian to post them for me.

Re: Heco Tinplate Vehicles

Louis asked me to post this photo of a Heco Gunbus Pusher plane. Very nice! :)
