Here come Dispatches! (1 Viewer)

Don't know when the fuel bowser and fire trucks etc may come for the RAF range but, would expect there to be some limit on such vehicles.
Mitch

Yes , when they come they will surely be in the 250 series, but probably won't be in the next Dispatch because of the new Italian Tank, but then again K&C are great at springing surprises so who knows!

Rob

I still hope for a stretcher set with a wounded pilot for me, that would be the pick of the series so far

Excellent, back to the thread. Very much agree Mitch, we've had stretcher teams for Ice Cold in Alex ambulance and the FOB so it would be a great to have an RAF version.

Rob

Figure wise I think the strecher bearers and the ones where comrades are carrying wounded are probably, the best things K&C release. They just add so much to a scene
Mitch

Apparently, many sand bags were seriously damaged in the ensuing scuffle however, as the Italians ran back to their borders the french cunningly picked up the sand and created the riviera!!!

Another case of the Italians switching sides - of the border, that is.

Rob mate,
Excellent thread as usually without any interjections from you know who.:smile2:
My two cents worth on the upcoming Dispatches are based on the gaps in numbers in the series ranges. eg. Missing numbers
AL21-25 (5)
AE39-40 & 43 (3)
BBG29-31 & 40-43 (7)
DD143-145 (3)
FW74-83 & 85-91 (10 & 7) Two big gaps
HK189-194 (6)
LW33-35 (3)
LAH139- 146 (8)
NA212-226 (15) Another big gap
WS186-194 (9)

Looking at the above I would have a guest at Naps, WW1, HK and a new 250 series and a plane. But who cares because what ever comes its all fantastic, well made, well backed up, well delivered and well supported with brouchures and magazines.
Cheers Howard

Who said there is an Italian tank coming next month? I Hope its for The Italian front and NOT for AK..

daruss...

Did someone mention "Modern Series".. Does that mean "gulf wars" or "arab-isreali wars"??

I wonder if these subjects would sell well due to that fact that the conflicts are still 'raw' as it were?

Rob

Would anyone be interested in the arab israeli war??? there was not much interesting armour on show, gulf war stuff seems quite popular would like to see the Falklands visited but, thats about the interest of ''modern'' conflicts I have

German invasion barges or some boat for FoB series would be great. I'd like to use and make a dockside diorama somewhere on one of the Channel Islands in July 1940.

During a dinner spech in Brisbane last year, I recall Andy saying that as an ex-Marine the Falklands War was of great interest to him but he had no plans to ever do a series on this conflict.
