Hetzer!! (2 Viewers)

Wraith, thanks for the info. I do believe it was you who first "turned us on" to TGM on the Forum with the MG 34 or 42 set.

TG has done yourself proud, those little tanks look great. I like the choice collectors are getting with every new release lately. Keep up the good work. ^&cool

Got some 'real life' photos (for that, read, poorer, out of focus, ill lit etc.{sm3})

And, a Hetz mix with dudes on or next to 'em:

Scale (IMHO) looks bang on for TGM, K&C etc. I tried to get a fair shot with the figures in the first shot.
Really like these little tanks. Paint work is good with a nice pattern on the Normandy version and a white wash of the type that appeals to me. Good detail and tracks. Only slight area for improvement would be to beef up the MG34. And don't do what i did which is to forget to remove it prior to putting the polystyrene top packing back on. Apparently, it snaps barrels.
Not really an issue, as I'm going to get a slightly bigger MG34 or 42 to stick in there.
Overall, a great first dive in to armour and the price point makes it very competative.

Cheers

Dudes? ..... et tu Simon? :rolleyes2:^&grin

So TGM has to "beef up" the MG34 barrels so some putz doesn't break it? {eek3} D'oh!

Hey, ya just gotta roll with it man.^&cool
As for the need to beef up the barrels, no that's entirely not the reason. Not even slightly. Nahoo.
Well, yes, entirely the reason actually.
Can't believe you broke me......{sm2}

TG really hit a home run w/ these Hetzers. I think I'm leaning toward getting the winter version. It looks great with the K & C / TG figure mix. Thank you Simon for the great pics and congrats on a fine acquisition!

TGM has quickly become a serious contender in the toy soldier market, for good reason. Another great release.

just recieved a winter Hetzer today through a trade with a forum member who got some in London. Its a really nice little AFV and, although I had K&C's Hetzer which, is very nice its a great set for a first AFV from a new company.

Look forward to seeing what happens when they begin to do larger Panzers
Mitch

not on the winter version I have don't know about the others but, think it would be the same
