A small detachment of Honeys roll through an Egyptian hamlet on the way to the Wire (Egyptian/Libyan frontier).

Tanks by Figarti, and figure and buildings by K & C.

Brad ,

The Stuart / Honey is one of my favorite Allied tanks...Nice desert scene...

Joe

Joe,

Mine as well. The track work on this tank was incredible. I think Figarti made four or five different Stuarts.

Brad

Gee,s thats ugly mate (The tanks in real life)but a nice setup,im looking forward to your dio,s because you have so many rare items in your collection.

Splendid scene Brad, thanks for posting. Terrific looking models and I love the shadows on the wall^&cool

Rob

Wonderful little tank and one of my favourites, would love to see K&C produce a 'desert' version at some stage. The buildings are great too, thanks for posting Brad^&grin

Brad

You are getting very good at this-Combination of excellent vehicles and great looking buildings make for a splendid vignette. Impressive.

Bob

Very good Brad and I agree with Toddy, I hope K&C bring out an EA version of the Stuart they released last year as it is a cracker! The Figarti versions look good tho.

Thanks for the likes and all the great comments, especially from the best in the business (UK Reb).

Now, that K & C have done a Valentine, I think a Honey would be a natural. The desert building is terrific.

Brad

Love this Figarti Stuart and it goes nicely with the K&C buildings.

Great looking scene you have created there Brad, loving the tanks, and your back drop looks killer, thanks for posting...Sammy

Hi Brad,

Nice work on the diorama. I did some research on this vehicle regarding how to configure the antenna and pennant(s). In the course of my rummaging about, I came across a generous fellow who passed on a PDF which includes the name of the vehicle in question. Assigned to B Squadron, 8th Hussars, T28035 was named BEACON. The name would have appeared in the same location as it does on Figarti's other Honey, BELLMAN. This is one of my favorite pieces, BTW.

Thanks for the additional comments. I purposefully took the photos in the evening and had only one of the two lamps turned on to try to give it a darker look.

Moe, the Honeys are some of my favorite tanks. As I mentioned earlier, Figarti made four or five different versions. They also made a special one for Treefrog in US colors, limited to 39, which I unfortunately do not have.

Brad

Nice armour. The Stuart is a very nice little tank, I love it
guy:)
