What a great collection!! I knew you had an addiction, but this is sheer madness {eek3} Thanks to you, I now look sane:tongue:^&grin Think I will show the pictures of your great collection to my wife - on second thought.....
Kudos to Tom as well for taking and posting the photos!! I look forward to one day visiting the Man Mansion ^&grin

Lawrence mate,
Many thanks for your kind comments. I hope you noted how many of those old K&C sets came from your great collection.^&grin Yes cobber, I do have an addiction for K&C, better than a drug, gambling or drinking addiction. Did I say drinking, well may be not that. You were the one who got me hooked on Tsing Tao Beer when in NY in 2010. And also thank you for reminding me to go back to this thread of young Toms' to answer a few questions.

Walt and Fatboy -- Thank you for your kind comments.

Mick (Ruskie) -- Boxes, they are the bain of my life, thousands of them, big and small.

Chris (McKenna) -- Dude, you are always welcome at my home and also in the Land of OZ.

Rob (Breslau) -- My aim is to have a complete matte K&C collection which means at least one piece of everything matte that K&C released. Not an easy task.:smile2:

Jeff (Aujj65) -- Thank you cobber. You have picked out 3 pieces that are special to me. The "G" George Aussie Lancaster speaks for itself, the San Pablo because it was hand built by a great mate, Chris Munro and the WB Nile gunboat because I love the Nile "Desert" (no snow Tom) range also because Richard Walker is not a bad bloke.^&grin Hope to catch up in London in June.

Mike (ucla1967) -- I have admired your collection, mate. It is no "small one" either. I must admit it gave me a better perspective of the glossy side of TS collecting. You and I have one thing in common. Bloody Dust.^&grin

Once again many thanks again to all who posted and liked. I must admit however, that the social side of TS collecting is my favourite and I am planning my 2013 trip at the moment to the Texas and London TS Show and hope to catch up with old mates and met and make many new mates from this Forum.
Cheers from the Land Downunder, Howard

Wow, I just spent 30 minutes looking at all of these pics again. Looks like King&Country's archival museum. .............................AWESOME {bravo}}

Toddy mate,
Glad you enjoyed. That Tom was like a terrier unleashed with a camera when he stayed over last year.
My wife (Jenny) and I have just returned from a four and half weeks world TS trip. She is very understanding being a collector of Blue Willow Crockery herself and now that she has seen some of the huge collections in the US and UK she believes mine is too small and would you believe encouraged me to enlarge it.^&grin

Wayne mate,
Glad you also enjoyed. Those showcases are spread over four rooms, but shortly they will all be transferred into one big 40 foot x 20 foot new room. "A Toy Soldier Experience" The complete K&C matte collection.

Cheers Howard

Howard,

Toddy, I think Brett has ordered a pallet of T-Shirts from China and has organised a screen printer as we speak!{sm2}{sm4}

What is amazing about Howards collection is when you get to the desert war you see multiples of the same vehicles. A motorpool waiting to be used in the next diorama.
What gets even better is all the other K&C eras are represented here as well :salute::

.....could be a good little earner Tom, hey I'd grab one.......it would probably end up as a 'high end' collectable:wink2:^&grin

Now,,,If we could only sign the adoption papers so I could be Howards honorary new "nephew" or something {sm3}

This is a stunning collection and Howard is one of the true gents of this hobby , nice one H!

Thank You Howard and Tom for posting your excellent collection. I enjoyed viewing every page. WOW! I don't know how I missed it earlier. John

Simply amazing!! After a brief hiatus, your collection made me want to place a few orders.

I think it is fair to say Howards collection is an inspiration for the rest of us. Amazing how the more that there is, the better everything looks :salute::
