A barge...

a rowing crew and oarsman...

a coveted Golden Ticket...

and the most handsome figure John has ever made...

the Mike "Mad Berserker" Miller figure...

Yes, a good day indeed. The boat and crew have to be the pinnacle of your TS collection to date. ..:rolleyes2:
Super nice and congrats on the ticket.

PS: I remember seeing you stroll about in the wolf skin, armband, sword and shield at many shows, but is the ax new? {sm4}

Good for you my Texican friend . . . . . great addition to your FIW collection and congrats on the golden ticket . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Very nice additions! Thanks for posting pics of it.

Cheers,

Brendan

That barge looks great Michael, I know you like boats of all shapes and sizes :wink2:

Well done winning the Golden ticket {bravo}}

All the best

Martyn:)

Forget the barge and the crew, lol. Let's talk about this beserker. Is this in the pipeline to be a new range? One can only hope.

Good things happen to good people !!

Congratulations !

The barge is a total beauty, but as far as being the most handsome figure --- I politely, but firmly, disagree, ..... that honor still belongs to The Blacksmith, besides the animal skins on your figure still "smell".

Congratulations Mike on this fine purchase. The barge looks superb with just the crew in it and no troops to transport. I may go that route myself and forego the Brits.

My fav is RFB-01!

Hi Mike,
Will Captain William Stark and Sergeant Beaubien fit in the boat?

Pete

I'll bet QB01, Major-Gen. James Wolfe, would look good in the bow.^&grin -- Al

I like all those ideas for a figure on the bow...

and knowing John...
he has probably already planned a new figure for that...

but if hasn't yet...

I would prefer a 2 Ranger set...

perhaps one kneeling with a ram rod...
behind the small barge gun...
similar to the whaleboat figure...

and maybe one standing...
looking down river...
maybe shielding his brow against the sun with his hand...
as he navigates for their safety...

but no bases on either of them...
I would prefer no bases so they don't contrast with the deck of the barge...

perhaps the standing figure could have a powder barrel attached to his leg for stability so he won't fall over...

What a way to go thru life with a powder keg strapped to your leg, seems a bit harsh. This barge is in danger of sinking due to being overloaded, but it's going to look something else when completed. Looking forward to seeing it in some dio's, it will be amazing. Robin.

okay...

hahaha...

it doesn't have to be a powder keg...
maybe a satchel of supplies...
or his musket to make a stable tri-pod...
anything to support him safely...

just no base on the figure...

That's a terrific barge set Mike....but I must ask has John based your MM Berserker figure on your actual dress code when you attend TS Shows in Texas ^&grin
