Impressive. (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I agree, it is impressive Wayne. Good for someone with a medieval collection.

I could hide some SS troops in there know worries..................^&grin

Wayne mate,
Nice piece of kit, but I would prefer it, if it was a Milecastle or Turret from Hadrian's Wall.:smile2:
By the way, great new Avatar cobber, 5/7 Battalion, RAR still doesn't hold a patch on a Lighthorse Regiment.^&grin^&grin
Cheers Howard

The old Battalion.

The seller does good work. I bought one of his castle ruin pieces some years ago on Ebay and was/am pleased. Besides his standard commercial line of fortifications, he also does commissioned stuff. I would imagine that Roman works would be right up his alley and down his street!

Tim made a 54mm Diamond shield castle plus 6 feet of crenelated walls with towers. Some years ago when I collected Swoppet Knights and such.

It still serves in the giant Lord of The Rings games we do from time to time.
Heavy duty construction, beautifully crafted. Will last generations.
Highest recommendations from me.

FubAR mate,
Thanks very much for the link, cobber. A very impressive website. I will send him an email to see if he can do a 60mm scale Milecastle or Turret from Hadrians Wall. Freight Downunder maybe the only drawback.
Cheers Howard

Thanks for the link fubAR. The castles are extraordinary, especially the 12' long one! {eek3} I wonder what the brick surface "feels like", and how heavy it is.

Rough like Brick. The Diamond shield castle I own is pretty much one piece. Weighs in at 35 pounds.

I keep looking at Minis Tirith in 25mm.

I have a small collection of toy castles going as far back as the 1940s, but the one model piece by this maker is done to scale and shows off both toy & model figures very well. {sm4} Because of the weight involved, your postage is going to be greater than what you're normally used to paying.

Fubar, thanks for the pics, that Minus Tirith setup rocks {eek3}
