Stay tuned folks as a story will be coming from the Detroit area.
It is not a secret but I will let someone else break the news.

Well Gary--that knocks my socks off. I know these Mich Toy guys and would never think this would happen. I guess running his business over took logical thinking. I noticed their forum has been shut down the last few weeks.

Peter Jackson is a great customer to have. I know Fubar sold figures to him and so does K&C. I wonder if the other partners were aware of this? Thanks for the information. John:eek:

This is Rick from Michigan Toy Soldier. These events actually occurred some years ago and have been in the process of restitution for some time now. I am deeply embarrassed and sorry about this situation. My wonderful staff had no knowledge of my actions. I am committed to restoring Michigan Toy Soldier and I hope you will support us in doing so.

Hope this is resolved soon, good luck.

Can,t condone what Rick did, but I give him credit for manning up and posting here on the board.

You should use paypal.
I purchased from MTSC for many years and was always happy with things.
Sorry to hear this. Sounds like it is hard times in the toy soldier world all round.

I have purchased from Michgian Toy Soldier and never had any problems.
Hope this can be resolved as best as possible.

You should use paypal.

Paypal gives you a 45 day window and then beyond that, any problems you are SOL.

Not a fan of their customer service at all, from either the buyer or seller standpoint, have been burned one time on each end...............

I know first hand the difficulty of keeping a hobby based business afloat, but wow.

Peter Jackson was a customer of ours too. Really nice guy. And I bought some stuff from Rick too and had a genuinely nice experience.

What a mess.

I applaud Rick for coming on here to apologize but, seriously, how does somebody betray a good customer like that? These people trust their chosen dealers with their credit cards and all matter of personal information.

I hope this works out the best it possibly can.

I never had a problem with them.Sometimes had to wait a while but always got what I ordered.

Come Again!
I don,t have a clue what you meant?
The guy is going to prison or do you think he should just get a negative feedback.

I can't speak to this situation nor do I want to. I can only speak to how Rick and crew have treated me. Rick has gone above and beyond on many occasions to deliver a good experience to me. He can't say much more than he did at this point other than to apologize, make restitution and "pay" in time for the crime here. People make bad decisions, here is a case of one of those and he is paying more than we know for this decision (I imagine). I am not defending or condoning, I am simply putting it factually.

I would imagine this is part of the pennance and rebuilding your name is one of the hardest things to do. I wish him luck on what will be a trying journey. Again, don't condone what has happened in the least, but on the other side of the coin, it sounds like things are being made right as well as a heavy "payment" in the reputation department.

Good luck to you Rick.

Tom
