Yes we definitely need this guy and more like him !:salute::

I really hope John gives us a rendition of Caesar's Germanic Cavalry as well as Batavian cavalry and infantry. Shouldn't be too hard for the Batavians. Just add more conical helmets and bearded faces/longer hair to his existing Roman cavalry and Auxiliary troops.

Anyone able to decipher the message in the upper right about the Roman Shield? I guess it just means he might have grabbed one from an enemy, but there is one word/acronym I can't quite make out.

"Also Roman Cav Shield Must Fit". This will probably be offered in two paint schemes with two shield options, one shield being a Roman one.

It might be a Roman shield so he can be an auxiliary or it might just be an oval shield so we will have an A and B version of the figure. But its exciting, i didnt notice it.

We only have enough $s for Troy but the Egypt-Hittite War is as awesome as it or the Carthaginian Wars, of which we also collected little but wanted more. Our collecting must be curtailed due to finances. Oh well, we have been piggy for decades so no complaints^&grin...
