It's General Warren being comforted by one of his officers as he lies dying. General Warren commanded the Colonial forces during the battle.

I will be looking forward to seeing some vignettes of these last couple of sets of figures, I'm sure they will be most realistic !!!

It is great that John can recreate scenes from paintings that can now be reproduced in a 3D format, like his Battle of Leuthen range from the 7YW era.

This figurine will certainly and very quickly be out of stock before even being available for sale!
well, in the meantime there is only room for the Mongols! no trappers, no Native Americans or Amazons or Lycians and no Egyptians... my themes are in limbo! I remember the huge surprise that is the future Hititte tank!
I'm champing at the bit...

if I were a collector of the Mongols theme, I would make an alliance of the JJD and Team Miniatures brands...
They mix very well thanks to a comparable level of painting and sculpture...

Agreed.
We have all 17 TM Mongol Cavalry plus Subotai and the Camel Set. We hope to get a ger if they make one.
We are also collecting this group of figures from JJD.
For fun, we have FL Mamelukes and Russians made in Ukraine and Russia and JJD's Gempei Wars Samurai in our store to open up when we have more JJD.
We also have many East of India Samurai and some FL Samurai and several other Muslims and other figures that can fit in.
It will be a huge opening of toy soldiers!
But not this year or next, we are patient.
We do look inside the boxes to check and we love what we see! We recommend both TM & JJD Mongols.

i have been thinking all day who this Mongol general reminds me of and it just came to me. The Mongol in the original Disney Mulan animation. He had a falcon and he seems similarly, winter attired.

I'm pleased to see John return to the northern theatre of the American War of Independence. These will be stunning pieces. I wonder how much more John has in store for us AWI collectors in this year's advent calendar?
