As well as TG saying some months ago they will be producing some as well.
Seems Gladiators have grabbed the attention of manufacturers, wonder if K &C will enter this arena as well !?
 
K n c might as they have the civilian line going so it will fit in with all of that. I was at PeterNathan yesterday and Sven has a great display of Roman civilians and Last Post miniatures. I stick with the fighting guys but the civilians are tempting

You know Team miniatures are great figures… and those gladiators were early releases so would be heaps better value compared to FL
 
I'm really excited by this. With the Stockbridge militiaman and now Molly Pitcher, it seems like John has a return to the northern theatre of the American War of Independence in the works.

What a cool figure. Not my line but love Johns sketches, seeing something fresh and seeing my brother collectors get excited for the next lot of figures. Only a couple more sleeps till Christmas and that means only a couple more sketches. I love the Advent calender but get sad when it ends
 
It looks like another gunner coming, so that means more Artillery, so bring it on ......

With the second Gladiator now revealed, they can fight each other as a vignette even if there are no more to be had.😀. One more sketch to go to reach Christmas, so thank you Mike for your daily updates. Have a relaxing day, you have earned it. Robin.
 
There are six types of gladiators: the retiarius, the secutor, the mirmillon, the thracian, the hoplomachus and the provocator...
There is no doubt that JJ intends to achieve them all...

Yeh, for sure wJohn will do all six. Each gladiator only fought a particular opponent so i am sure John will make the poses suitable for three individual battles

not to mention the variations of poses and equipment...
the six types are the main ones but we are talking about around thirty different types from these references...
the theme can develop widely...

It's only the 23rd, so I think there are two sketches more to be seen.
 
Thinking of using the upcoming Gladiators in some kind of ''Spartacus Revolt, Day One'' Dio.
