Very likely I'd have thought and probably be a lot of interest the following year it being the 250th anniversary of America's Birthday !

Oh, that brings back memories for me because I was travelling in Europe in '76 and there was lots going on in Britain with exhibitions for the Bi-Centennial.

The Maritime Museum in Greenwich, Army Museum in Chelsea just mention a couple, as well as National Gallery.

Also, many of the toy soldier companies expanded their catalogues with figures from 1776.
In addition, reference books on uniforms, and military were published.

I wonder what 2026 will bring????

I did not expect John to return to the Seven Years' War in North America. I wonder what other suprises he has up his sleeves?

So far, of all the sketches John has sent me to post, this one has been the biggest surprise for me.

This surprises me too and I love it. I have just about all of the earlier Rangers. This pose is very unique. Looking forward to getting it next year.

Glad you Ranger fans are happy. I am so thrilled about the new Jacobite figures. I have been hinting, suggesting and praying for ages. I bought a French gun crew to back the Scots up but need some British firepower. Cannot wait. Potentially we have seen at least three sets of figures, the two wounded Jacobites from last years calender, and this year the grenadier and the gunners…i assume we get a crew. Thank you John

I think with what we are seeing with this year's advent calendar is that NO range is done yet.

The Maratha gunner was a pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to adding the gun and detachment to my collection.
