SO excited to see this Scutarius! Was a little afraid the Celtiberians might be the only Scutarii we'd get (presuming this is a sign of things to come). Bring on the Caetrati, too! Really enjoying John's Punic Wars range.

I talked to John about Varangian Guard, as I have some Thomas Gunn Byzantium figures, but John is not going there. A really interesting part of history but he has too many ranges already and cannot afford to get into this era.

Thanks for sending John's response re Varangians. Was hoping for a couple of Varangian-looking Vikings at least to represent Harald Hardrada's crew since he was part of the Hastings story. Hard to complain about the size of the range though

Looks like the Battle of First Bull Run/Manassas is alive and well. The 1st Rhode Island was heavily engaged during the morning on Matthew's Hill primarily against the 1st Louisiana Special Battalion (Wheat's Tigers)

John's coverage of the AZW is going from strength to strength. I'm still holding out hope that he will give us Napoleonic collectors something to look forward to with the Advent calendar.

Very happy about this NNC. Britains made 2? Or 3?. Cant remember, whateve4 the6 made i hav3 them but need reinforcements. Good general purpose figures, NNC at Gingin, Rorkes Drift ( though most took off before the Zulus came. Who can blame them!) and Isanndlawana
