Although I must admit that my TG War in the Pacific bookshelf is starting to get a bit full: ^&grin

I would say the shelf is in danger of collapse under the weight or otherwise your bank account 😀, Robin.

You'll soon be starting your French Indochina shelve Rob so that should balance things out !

EDIT: can't wait to see TG's Action Aussies in the future. Great stuff!

Just need to have some tropical fish to complete the scene{sm4} , Robin.

I love that first shot Rob. It shows the whole story and that background is beautiful and so deep and mist filled. The colors in it are fantastic and are so real looking. I don't recall seeing that vehicle before. It's really nicely made with lots of crisp detail.

Thanks so much Joe, really appreciate the nice feedback. I've taken quite a few photos and still can't seem to capture the depth seen in person. The vehicle is TG's Dodge WC51/52 (Marine version) customized with Aussie markings. It's still available.

Here's an older shot of it pictured with Aussies. I've used it in many scenes; in fact, my Dodge has been everywhere. ^&grin

With TG's new Large Sand Bag Emplacement (ACCPACK056), these Aussie soldiers have some extra defense. A most versatile piece I might add.

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is doing well. My compliments to Tom and the TG Team for their October 2021 Releases. They have truly been putting out some beautiful pieces this year. As I looked upon the new Kurogane (both versions) and the "sneak peek" of the upcoming fighting Aussies and wounded Japanese, I'm really excited to add on to my existing Pacific collection. I started my modest TG collection with the Bantam jeep (intended for N. Africa), but with fantastic and unique pieces like the 75mm Japanese gun, Japanese bunker, and large jungle hut, I systematically began collecting both TG Japanese and Australian figures. I currently own 10 figures of each army creating a balanced collection.

My most recent addition was the Large Sandbag Emplacement which I used for Aussie command defense.

When I looked upon TG's image of a small skirmish featuring the emplacement and new Kurogane (pictured below), I thought to myself, "I will enjoy adding the new items to my own collection", also utilizing TG's jungle mat for my existing bookshelf display.

I've had difficulty photographing my bookshelf display, but tried another attempt to capture it this morning.

Hats off to TG; I truly enjoy their Pacific collection and really look forward to the new additions.

Your display is nicely done, Rob! I find if I add some imaginary distance between the two armies, I can appreciate they way you have everything displayed. If this makes sense?

Nothing better as your collection takes shape and you have positions set aside for upcoming releases. Space is everyone’s concern for serious collectors. Robin .

Very true, Robin. Space is always an issue.

I like your jungle encounters, something i played around with a few years ago. The figures were earlier TG releases. Regards Greg.

I don't think our Diggers will have much of a chance against a tank ???

But you never know some 'good old Aussie ingenuity' when under pressure ????

Well done,

John

Hi Greg, digging your scene. I like how you created the road for the tank and figures. The added wire around the hut also works well. You have a nice collection of Japanese, many of which I don't remember. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.

So true, Robin. I have a whole separate collection of K&C Pacific in another room. The Mrs. claims "I'm invading every room". ^&grin

Thanks Mark and completely understand what you're saying. :salute::
