K&C July Dispatches (1 Viewer)

In General I think it takes a while to establish yourself as an attorney. My brother-in-law and sister are both attorneys in the tri-county area and are trying to establish their own law firm. I know from talking to them that they work very hard at what they do and often get discouraged.......Even though they are defense attorneys I have to give them credit they work very hard day in and day out. On the other hand I am in law enforcement along with 3 uncles and 2 cousins. Of the 3 cousins that are or formerly were in the military 2 were MPs. Needless to say family get togethers are fun since my brother-in-law takes alot of the heat :D
 
I don't do criminal law, in part because so many of my friends and family are police officers, in part because I don't like the idea of having someone's life or liberty depend on my professional abilities.

That was always my feeling. If I screw up, it's not going to cost someone their life. At the worst, I'll just get fired.
 
I'm sure if my sister could choose right now she would be in tax law. I think they just chose criminal law to get started. I forsee her venturing out in the near future.

This topic's always good for a laugh....Although I have to say (again) that I would love to see some new sets of these redoubtable warriors.

Although I am not a Napoleonics collector, I really do like the new commander conference with tent set. And I would really enjoy a WWII version, perhaps one with Rommel and commanders in North Africa.
 
Good suggestion that would be a very interesting piece that would surely would get alot of attention.

Good idea, but what about a set with Montgomery's Command vehicle with tent in Europe, plus some visiting US Commanders, maybe even Ike.

Was it perhaps Trafalgar, The Nile, Buccasso, Albuera Torres Vedras?
Seems to be quite a few of them.
Fortunately most continental despost tend to do themselves in by invading Russia
