Hi Dave-

Thanks for your kind words.

As far as the avatar is concerned, unfortunately it's not my latest photo :D

It's a photo of British actor Ian McShane as fictional character of Al Swearangen in HBO's serie Deadwood, the strongest and most interesting one.

Hi Rob-

Agree with you. See my reply to Dave :)

Hey Pierre,

I loved the programme,we were really looking forward to the two feature length episodes that were going to be made, but now it does not look like they will get made.I think Ian Mcshane's performance was one of the best i've seen in years.Absolute murderous phsycopath but you could have sympathy for him!.There were many other fine performances in the programme and it was a shame it ended.

You are welcome, and I think you read my mind because the underlying question on my mind was really: Oh my, I wonder if that is what Pierre really looks like...not at all what I'd imagined. :D

Also, it sounds like I might have to check out Deadwood on DVD.

Mister Dave

I did wonder who it was, he looks like someone who should have a rapier in his hand.

As for Deadwood, it's an ok series but not something that more sensitive types should watch especially in mixed company as the language is full on in some scenes. That Calamity Jane swears worse than a Buffalo skinner, maybe she was one.

I was wondering what Doris Day would have thought when she saw this latest version of Calamity Jane!;)

Hi Pierre,
Good to hear from you once again.
Ray

Hi Ray-

Thanks. I appreciate.

I am actually working on a thread related to Buonaparte and his myth. I hope to post it in a near future in the historical discussion section. Hope to hear you there too.

Hi Chris-

Thanks for the compliment. Effectively, she's a beautiful young lady and the pride of all her parents :D:D:D
