K&C Napoleonic Corner (1 Viewer)

You got a great collection Ron...how long have you been acquiring Naps..or any figures for that matter...

Mike

I started collecting Napoleonics back in 2002 - I started collecting K&C ACW and AWI figures back in 2000 - and finally gave in to the POWER of the Napoleonics

That would have been true until recently until I recently started collecting NAPs. I think there now will be more NAPs released than before, and likely at the expense of Arnhem, although I don't think they will drop the Arnhem line entirely. :D Besides, haven't most of the possible Arnhem figures already been made? ;):D

This post shows that Terry and Ron are the same person. After all, have you ever seen them together in public. Thought not. Your honor, I rest my case :D

That would explain a lot Brad, thought it a bit odd 'Terry' suddenly starting to talk Naps, should we call them 'Terrony' ;). Is Ron taking over the forum by stealth and assimilation, you know a bit like the Borg in Star Trek next Gen, should we in fact call Terry 2 of 2 !!:D

Rob

Sorry, but Ron and I are 2 different people who have never met. We just have interest in a wide range of eras - true renaissance men. ;)

Well, it looks like I need to refresh my album with the latest updates I made on my Nap collection :rolleyes ;) I will post these soon on this thread as well!

Awesome collection Ron. I've been collecting Naps for a yr and a half. Do you think we'll ever get more Brit cavalry? Someone mentioned more K&C French horse in the works. A bit one sided don't you think?

:D you're asking Ron, the man .. if more French horse is a bit one sided :p  :D the man would be estatic if K&G made French nappies only ..

I am guessing some British Household cavalry will soon be on the way to beef up the Scots Grey charge. Right after they release the Horse Grenadiers and/or Marmelukes :)

Sorry cant resist

Outstanding work - Love the display

How about some pics from others ??

Great thread, some really nice collections out their. I really like the Napoleonic era and have enjoyed collecting toy soldiers within it. The uniforms, colours etc are magnificient and there is still so much untapped potential out there that this line still has tons of potential.
Myself I don't create diorama's with Napoleonics because I have other competing interests (WWII and Crusaders mainly) and therefore I can't afford the sheer number of soldiers it would take to create firing lines, cavalry charges etc. I typically collect just a sampling of each unit released to display on my shelves. At least I've got "skin in the game"!

This is a great thread...some really cool dioramas and displays on here...you guys have some great stuff...

Sotnik...did you make that building in you diorama...your groundwork is really cool too...
Terp152...you Black Watch square is sweet looking...

Nicholas...get up off that paintbrush and post some pics!!!

Great plan. I'm doing the same collecting samples of British regiments and their foes with emphasis on NAPs, Siege of Quebec, Sudan, Zulu, and hopefully, figures from India (Sons of the Empire). Yes Andy - I've switched my nagging from Russian AFVs to Sons of the Empire :D Hopefully with better results :D
