K&C photographs (2 Viewers)

Love this diorams. A few great figures in a great setting
The diorama was made by the late, great Gordon Neilson and was given to me, along with the figures, which are K&C painted masters, at the last New York Symposium Andy and Gordon both attended about 12 or 13 years ago. The photo was taken by Kevin at the photo shoot for the K&C books, in my backyard at about 6:00 am, as the most from my neighbor’s pond created a really realistic backdrop.

Dunkirk 1940

Right chaps, the Luftwaffe have made the place a bit untidy but you must ignore that. We need to organize more men getting to the Mole for evacuation .....

Kevin,
Awesome photos, every one of them. Your use of perspective and natural light and shadows is brilliant.
Thanks for sharing-

Thank you for the very kind comment, I appreciate it. I feel that I must include thanks to Louis, as it is mainly his collection that makes such great subjects.

Best wishes

Kevin

You're very welcome Kevin!
I've always enjoyed pouring over the images you create from the mighty collection of Louis!
You have a style that really stands out and captures moments in such interesting ways.

Many thanks again Joe. This shot is from a 'Britpack' collaboration a few (or many) years ago for a XXX Corps theme.

Kevin, I really enjoy looking through all your pictures. It's fun to see some of the older sets too. Thanks for sharing and keep on posting.

Coming from someone who is doing such brilliant stuff, I really appreciate the kind words. Having said that, I confess I have been getting round to shrinking shots like these - taken of Louis' superb collection. We both enjoy seeing them ^&cool.

Cheers Pats. Yeah those snaps are very old now. ^&grin

A few people have made great contributions on this thread, please feel free to do so.

Another trip to 'Firebase Louis', featuring very early K&C Vietnam figures and wooden vehicles in a base made by Gordon, from Louis' collection.
