Wow, being that I am only a part-time forum reader/user myself I can only help but notice some knarly posts associated with toy soldier collecting lately. I’m not just talking about one thing, I’ve seen everything from paint color choice to the entire hobby dying. Doom, gloom, and bad thoughts(what manufacture will make The 4 Horsemen?). If a person lived on the internet they might think the toy soldier sky is falling.
For a large majority of us, I would think that this type of collecting is a hobby. Something you do to get away from the grind and stress of the day. It doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense to me to put stress into something that’s supposed to be stress relief. My only advice could be this: you create your own happiness - get outside, breathe some fresh air, do something you’ve always wanted to do but never have, call someone that you’ve said that you need to get back in touch with(no drunk dialing), or make travel plans for a place you’ve said you’ve always wanted to go.
But most of all:
Keep it silly
