I believe there were 500 Les Mis sets for the theater (400 of which were given to cast and crew and the remainder of which sold out in the theater on opening night) plus an additional 100 sold through K&C.
The B17 was first listed in the price list enclosed in the 1991 post card catalogue. It was produced in several versions right up until 1996. The versions I have seen include "A Bit O'Lace", the Memphis Belle, and mine, the Sentimental Journey.
The only German nightfighter version that I am aware of K&C making back in the day was the Junkers Ju88J nightfighter version (I have one in my collection, so there should be a photo on Bill Sager's website).
The Owl was also known as the Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Uhu (Eagle Owl) and it was a German twin-engine twin-boom three-seat tactical reconnaissance and army cooperation aircraft. It first flew in 1938 (Fw 189 V1), entered service in 1940, and was produced until mid-1944.
