Congrats on the new volumes! Appreciate all the hard work, time, and expense you have put in to make these available to collectors. Sadly, you will never be **lly compensated for the pain and suffering of having to work with Louis {eek3}:tongue:^&grin Incoming.......​


As for 'working' with Louis, he just inspires the project, sits on his butt all day carrying everything up and down those stairs, researches, writes, comments, gets you to allow me to photograph yours, puts me up when I stay ....... what has he ever done for us? ^&confuse

Lawrence - I would travel a long way for your food^&grin, but transatlantic? I must say I don't remember the alcohol but will try to next time next time (was that because there wasn't any:rolleyes2:) Anyway I buy the fish and chips don't I?

Brad - your company too.

Looks like my attempt at sarcasm and having a little bit of **n with Louis seems to have gotten lost in the translation. So, to clarify the situation, I will stipulate that I know all the work Louis has put in to get these books done (as well as your efforts despite all your health issues) and that my poor attempt to inject some levity went terribly awry as some may have assumed I was demeaning his efforts. So, in penance for my ill-fated and poor attempt at humor, I will go and put myself in the corner and sit on the dreaded "comfy chair".^&grin As for the drinks, they were offered while you were eating at the bar, but my bartender is not as pretty as the ones I've seen at your get-togethers, so the next time you are in town, we will celebrate your new publications and I will personally pour you & Louis some flat and warm beer with some fish & chips and photograph the event to put in your next volume ^&grin Cheers, Lawrence

I know you know all that stuff and I know you were having a matey pop at Louis, but mates stick up for each other, even for Louis:wink2: and I would for you^&grin.

I just raised your deadpan by a more deadpan.

However - you are on for fish and chips chinese style at the finest such restaurant in New York, with wine if you prefer.{bravo}}

I would love to send you some proper beer, but think it is a problem to get it into the US, so you all need to come over (again) sometime soon.

This is another that was practically done in 2009, but there have been a few issues Louis will fill you in on. Wish I could come to Chicago but not practical this year. Get Louis to have a beer for me mate (Louis hates beer).

Well I checked the archive - took 1 sec - I'm right out of toy soldier surboard pics ..... shock horror. So what are you going to do about that then?

Do you have any monster cat on surfboard pics you could lend me?
