Hi Guys,

I've just received my latest Toy Soldier Collector, and on the 2nd back page there is a advert for the new range by King and Country, called

KnC

This is the new way that Andy has talked about to produce massed armies to fill in the battlefields and compliment the more detailed K&C vehicles and (I assume going on the Alamo) figures.

The packaging is new, with a see through cover and this one, a M4 Sherman Tank comes complete with 2 removable wading stacks, a painted half figure and machine gun.

I'm sure that WW2 collectors will like this one, now all we need to see the price.

Maybe that will come out in next week's DISPATCHES ???

Thanks for the info John, it's certainly interesting days ahead on this new concept.

Great news John . Hope the price is right. Any idea about the material it is made of . Is it plastic ?
can you post any picture ?

Guy,

It appears to be this tank on the K&C website under "Dramatic Displays" but without the additional weathering and sand in the tracks.

There are another couple of views on the site.

Looks good John, thanks for posting.

Those dramatic displays by Gordon on the K&C site are so professional. ^&cool Robin.

looks very promising John. They seem to be identical to the FoV tank series. Maybe better quality, hard to judge on a picture
guy:)

I have seen the ad and, it will be interesting to see the prices for detail for sure. FOV for me had really good detail for a decent price their figures were the let down but, still know lots of people who buy them instead of the really expensive ones offered by manufacturers and, just pick off figures available.

It would be interesting to see the tank shown in the ad - for those of us who don't get the magazine.

As a "Shermanoholic" I'm always interested in Andy's tanks.

Good update Obee, Sounds like some good, solid info !

if KnC are 100% plastic, I am not intereseted !!!
The FoVs I have are a mixture of plastic and metal which is a good combination

yes you're right, let's wait for the price and some detailed pics of the tank. If it is plastic does'nt KnC then have to make a couple of thousand . Moulds are very expensive !!!!

Unless you like to modify your vehicle or correct some of FoVs silly mistakes, then their metal used in the diecast really ruins Dremel bits and takes forever to grind away. For me it's PLATIC any time any day. If I want heft I add weight in the lower hull.

That's just my personal opinion, you are free to enjoy what you like.

I still want to see more photos and hear a price quote before I get all excited about it.

Since is plastic I hope the tank hatches can be opened and closed as required in our desired settings or battle scenes {sm4}

The ad states plastic and metal and 1/30. Looks unweathered and the packaging is not too disimilar to FOV.
Curious to see the price point.
