"KnC" new D-Day Sherman !!! (2 Viewers)

FoV tanks sell about 60.00 pounds - it will be interesting to see how much above this is the new K&C Sherman.

Very "toyish" looking but may be thats the plan to get kids involved in the hobby with cheaper prices.
Oh well time will tell, like i said before make good canon fodder/diorama if the price is right.

What if it was a grey German tank? Aaah, different story! :wink2:

I am not sure myself, it looks ok but I still prefer the better quality vehicles. I may wait until I see it in person.

From the scan, it looks the tank just rolled out from a production factory - not from a battle ^&grin

1. tracks looks plastic

2. the figure too

Yes need to see the real stuff first....

Sorry guys, but for me it doesnt look promising, at least for this sherman,

Way too toyishes.

Sorry Andy. :(

it all depends on what price scale it will be put at. I think the comparison between FOV ends as the detail is not comparable IMO

It boils down to the people who have now been priced out of the market but like K&C may return and put up with less detail on AFV's whilst getting figures. The old buy FOV and get K&C figures that I mentioned many collectors were and still are doing may have struck a cord with K&C and they are trying to tap into that area. That's if they are nice and cheap.

Don't see kids being attracted if the price is higher than the real cheap plastic that is already available now though, I don't see anything K&C is doing aimed at the kiddie market.

As for the AFV. I mirror some comments that they would not be for me as the detailing looks poor and they just won't work for me in any situation. Its not like many people have space to use many multiples of AFV's for background fillers in battles with better at the front and less better at the rear. I can just see it with figures not with AFV's. Also when it was in the dio if this actually was the same sunk in the water if it is the scale it says it looked very small compared to some of the new figures near it.

Perhaps we can have two dispatches the main one and one for these releases
Mitch

Well are be happy if KC start making plastic V2 and V1 {sm0}

At present I only collect D-Day Brits and Germans but might be tempted (price dependent) to use this vehicle to begin to add a US Army contingent. Now if K&C could do a British Army version!

Think a Cromwell tank would do well bit like the airfix version ^&cool
