According to the records I have there were 10 WW sets plus a #22 Col Theodore Roosevelt in Cuba.
The first 10 were:

WW1TT "Bronco Buster"
WW2TT "The Fur Trapper"
WW3TT "Rough Justice"
WW4TT A Cheyenne Brave
WW5TT A Sioux of The Brave Heart Warrior Society
WW6TT Officer of the 7th Cavalry
WW7TT Enlisted Man of the 7th Cavalry
WW8TT Trooper of the 10th Cavalry (Buffalo Soldiers)
WW9TT The Pony Express
WW10TT Davy Crockett
WW22TT Col. Theodore Roosevelt in Cuba

Most are riding poses except for Davy standing with a rifle in front of him, The fur trapper is standing and is trading furs with an Indian who is seated with his horse near by and Rough Justice has a man on a horse with a noose around his neck ready for hanging by two other men. I assume Theodore Roosevelt is a standing pose as he was only listed for $30 and the riding poses were $70. The fur trapper was originally $115 and the Rough Justice was $155. Davy Crockett was $28 on the original price list that I saw.

Hi Art

Many thanks for the list which adds Davy Crockett and Col. Theodore Roosevelt.

Len used the WW prefix for both THE GREAT PLAINS WAR sets and THE WILD WEST sets, here are my THE GREAT PLAINS WAR boxes

Neat additions Martyn. I particularly like DS 16, as I picked up one in Chicago.

That's a great set of figures Martyn, apparently you weren't kiddin' about being a very good boy this year. :rolleyes2::tongue:

Martyn..{sm2}... not so sure about a few for Christmas? It would appear that you have Christmas at least once a week going by the number of new additions you get! :rolleyes2::tongue:^&grin^&grin

Jeff :salute:: Btw very nice figures.

Martyn,

Did you already have these in set form?

Also for an ignorant Yank, did the Post Office really have its own regiment?

Brad

Hi Brad

I had a couple of sets of the Grenadier Guards but I had been looking for the Advancing set as this one appears in the Trophy Big Box set The Battle of Tel EL-Kebir, now it has filled a little gap ^&grin

Thanks for the link jb :salute::

Very nice pickup Martyn. Tommy

Many thanks Tommy :salute::

I picked up a few more 20th Bengal Infantry Regiment, single figures not sets :wink2:, and I will get some pictures taken tomorrow. I have noticed that the Indian Army sets for Tel EL-Kebir all have rifles with bayonets attached but, apart from marching sets, several produced for the NWF and Raj do not have bayonets fixed.

Here are the two Bengal Regiment Firing Line sets I have for Tel EL-Kebir, 7th on the left and 20th on the right

Martyn: Those without bayonets are probably from Dr. Deese's collection. He would special order NW 24 piece sets of each regiment so he would have enough to resemble a square with a command group inside and also Raj sets. When Len came to Sulphur Springs, he brought the sets from Longview so Len could cut off the bayonets. Dr. Deese had a young son and was worried about a bayonet sticking in his eye since he had them displayed on a table at home. There were 6 to 8 of these sets I think. He later had Mike Laeding sell them for him which took a while because no one was much interested then. He was asking $300 per set. Read this and weep. I remember Len commenting that was the only time he cut off the bayonets. Tommy
